APPEAR brings works from the studios of contemporary artists, directly to you. Purchasing small, affordable works from APPEAR helps artists to continue their research, pay for their studio and work towards ambitious projects. 100% of the sale price goes to the artist.

APPEAR Artworks website was launched in 2025 with an aim to make selling and buying as easy as possible with no financial barrier to the artists and no subscription fee to the buyer. APPEAR was first founded as an Instagram page in 2023 by artists Alice Browne, Lena Brazin and Kate Bland as a way to share their love of work on paper with a wider audience. The artists met each other in London, working in part-time jobs in-between studio days.
